Our focus is on the creation, retention and expansion of small businesses. Each year, the SBDC network counsels more than 1,500 entrepreneurs and existing business owners through direct assistance and referral. What does the CCSBDC provide?

  • one-on-one business counseling and assistance with business plan development, financial management, market feasibility, and international trade at no cost to you
  • low-cost training in topics include business start-up, marketing, taxes, business plans and cash flow analysis 

SBDC offices offer customized local assistance to meet small business needs in their regional service areas. The SBDCs are a key access point to a broad network of public and private resources at the community level.

How long has the SBDC been providing these invaluable services to clients?

Since 1977, the SBDC has assisted over 7,000 businesses with:

  • new ventures, growth and expansion
  • securing $117.6 million in financing 
  • creating or retaining over 4,600 jobs
